NOTHING detoxifies the body better that doing Colon Hydrotherapy, in my opinion. There is NOTHING out there that comes close. I feel that Colon Hydrotherapy is the most powerful cleansing tool that anyone can use and I HIGHLY recommend that anyone who is on a quest for better health and has improved their diet, partake in Colon Hydrotherapy on a periodic basis.
As I stated in a recent article... It is more IMPORTANT what you DON'T eat than what you actually eat. When you improve your diet in any way whatsoever, you are going to go through detoxification. I feel that DETOXIFICATION is the most misunderstood concept in the 'Health Movement'. Many people don't understand that their body is going to detox ALL the past food choices from their entire lifetime, let alone their ancestors' lifetimes. Detoxification feels something like being a drug addict wanting their fix after they've eliminated their drug of choice. This process doesn't just end overnight. It takes many years to clear the body, just like it took many years to bring you to the state that you are/were at. I feel this is the main reason why people don't stay on the path of a consistent improved intake in the long-term. It can feel like a physically and emotionally painful process.
The more you leave out of your diet, the more you are going to cleanse. For example, the most cleansing thing that anyone can do is go on a water fast, because in so doing, you are eliminating everything from your diet except water. This is why I tell 90% of the people I meet that they would likely do better with an Intermediate Healthy Cooked Food Diet rather than a 100% Raw Food Diet. When you eat 100% Raw (Vegan) Food, you are leaving everything out of your diet except the most easy to digest, water-rich foods. If you do this, you will cleanse deeply and for a long time. It can literally be thought of as like going on a 'life-long fast'.
Regardless, even if you do an Intermediate diet, although you won't detox nearly as much as with a 100% Raw Food Diet, you are still going to cleanse, ESPECIALLY if you're coming from a 'SAD' background, or similar. It is very likely that at some point you will experience a healing crisis, which may appear to you to be 'sickness', whereas actually this is just a standard part of detoxing, as your body throws out old waste. Nothing aids this detox process like periodic Colon Hydrotherapy. Colon Hydrotherapy pulls the waste and gas right out of the body. In a way, it is like 'cheating' the detox process and it certainly expedites the release of that old waste. I feel that it is at least 75% easier to succeed with these lifestyle changes if periodic Colon Hydrotherapy is practiced. The more someone leaves out of their diet, ideally the more often they will cleanse their colon, to keep up with the release of the old waste. My suggestions for frequency are as!

100% Raw Food Diet - Once a month
Intermediate Healthy Cooked Food Diet - 4 - 12 times a year You may want to start with a series of 6 colonics with an improved diet.
For healing from a degenerative disease, nothing compares to eating a 'cleaner' diet in conjunction with Colon Hydrotherapy. That is the answer right there!!! Cleansing the colon is just as powerful as the diet - incorporating these two factors together can produce phenomenal healing results. In my opinion, both are required for the ultimate healing of the body. Nothing compares to Colon Hydrotherapy!!! If you then also throw green vegetable juices into the mix, you truly have the ULTRA-ULTIMATE combination for healing from degenerative disease and/or preventing degenerative diseases.
About 50-60 years back, before 'Big-Pharma' really took over, apparently every hospital room had equipment to cleanse patients' colons. It was the VERY FIRST measure that any doctor or nurse took to help people with any sickness. They did this because IT WORKS!!!! I have seen IMMEDIATE and MIRACULOUS things happen after a person experiences Colon Hydrotherapy. For example, I knew of one woman who had pneumonia and was about to go on antibiotics. I persuaded her to do a colonic. Her session helped her to release a massive amount of old waste and immediately after we got into the car, she was taking really DEEP BREATHS and she couldn't believe how quickly healing had taken place. The colonic pulled the waste right out and her body was relieved from all that toxicity and backed-up material!!! A series of colonics may be necessary to really reach optimal health again in a situation like this.
I highly recommend getting the book Become Younger by Dr. Norman Walker and in there you can read example after example like these I have mentioned above. If you read that book, you will truly understand that in terms of healing, nothing compares to this most POWERFUL TRIO... Eating a 'cleaner' diet, Colon Hydrotherapy and drinking green vegetable juices.
